Public Event Workshops

Part of my practice is to prepare  commissioned site-specific workshops and soundwalks as part of an event or a residency. My aim is to open up the sites to as many voices and listening perspectives as possible. That usually involves spending time within a particular site and listening, observing, writing intensively for a short period. The resulting observations form part of a plan of actions and activities that are used for the workshop. Prompting exchange and conversation is an important output, often combined with more traditional techniques and listening exercises
